A change in direction
Dear readers,
My writing on Sex, Drugs, and Suicide has been infrequent. (Negligent, really.)
I thank you for your support in spite of my failings!
I’ve realized that I wrote with no particular audience in mind. I know a few of you. And I often found that real-life conversations took the place of more formal writing.
I had no clear goal when I began this blog. Unfortunately, no goal and no intended audience is a recipe for distraction.
So for now, I’m placing this blog on indefinite hiatus.
I’ll no doubt return to the subjects I’ve explored here. This will largely take place on my new Substack: High Performance Mental Health. It’s an outgrowth of my new private practice. I’m exploring the ways that mental health affects leaders. You are welcome to follow along.
Will sex, drugs, and suicide feature among the topics there? Of course. You can’t discuss mental health without touching these issues. But these topics won’t be the main focus.
Thank you again for your support. It is an honor to have you read my thoughts. And our interactions have brought me great joy. I appreciate you, and hope to hear from you again!
Jeff
